    Default Firing order Gen question

so as many as you already know, chevy changed the firing order for v8s from 18436572 to 18726543... did chevy just label the cylinders differently and now the reference is in a differnt location? anyone know more on this topic?

    Default

A change in the ignition firing order requires a different cam since the valves have to open at different times and normally a different crank shaft though there are a few odd exceptions to that ive been told(something about swapping 2 cylinders igntion and cam timing for more power with same crank on some engine that I forget).
