Default Throttle Body Port & Polish

I wanted to go ahead and polish my throttle body on my 06 silverado...

I know you need a dremel, sandpaper, aluminum polish..but how exactly should I grind the metal? Should I make a slight taper from the valve to the outer edge? I've been told to leave the valve and the metal directly surrounding it alone, but how far in should I grind? Anyone done this before?

    Cool throttle body port& polish

With the bolt-ons you have on your truck you dont need a ported t/body. I went with a t/body velocity stack from Vararam. Its easy to install, just slips into your t/body without removing the t/body just remove the intake tube. It gives you better throttle response that you can feel and is good for 22ft lbs torque in a 5.3 engine. Check em out at Vararam.com. It think Jegs has em for $35.00.
