    Default Electrical issues

Finally got the engine rebuilt and the truck is running now, but once again I am having some electrical issues. I have already posted that my rpm tach is being weird and now the turn signals are acting up, and on occasion while I am driving my battery voltage will go almost all the way down to 9 instead of staying at 14. The Rpm tach will sometimes try to come on when i first start the engine. I am thinking vibrations from the engine are causing the messed up wire to connect. Any suggestions?

All these symptoms point to a bad ignition switch. The ignition switch feeds the fuse to the dashboard and gauges. You could run a fused jumper wire from the battery to the dash fuse as a test or just monitor the voltage at this fuse with a voltmeter when these problems are occurring,

And the ignition switch is housed on the steering column right?
