Steering column woes.
First thing I need to do on my truck is straighten out the steering column. The whole thing is sloppy. When you go through the shifting motion, the whole collar turns with it. No ignition, and when turning the key it won't return to lock. No turn signals. This is a 3 spd column shift so I'm very concerned it might not be repairable, and those columns aren't cheap. I'll have to replace the turn signal assembly and I could obviously move the shift linkage to the floor, but I'm concerned about the ignition failure. I'd like to save the column. Guess I won't know what I'm up against until I get it completely disassembled. Any thought?

Can you take some pictures? That would help, the post is a little confusing and I am having a hard time visualizing the stalk.
