I'm lookin to get some headers for my 07 4.8 silverado any body have a suggestion????

If you get long tube headers this will give you more low end torque but the down side is you will have to spend some extra money to keep the emissions on the truck. You are better off just getting some shortys, they will be just slightly better then stock, but every little bit helps99 K1500 Suburban LT "THE BEAST"

Ok but is there a big difference in the material. I was wanting to get some that the end pipe was 3 or 3 1/2 in.

unless you are planning on building a complete new exhaust just stay with the factory size. new motors arent like the ones of yesteryear, they react poorly to big changes in exhaust by not haveing the needed back pressure. not to mention you still have to have cats on your truck sounless you are gonna drop monster bucks to replace those with bigger diameter ones

Shorties are too close to the stock manifolds to warrant the $$$ spent on them. LTs will yield the best bang for the buck and there are ways to keep the cats on there. I still have the cats on mine, just had to custom weld it.Black Bear Performance- Custom Tuning Solutions

Ok I was thinking about doin shortties but I'm also ganna redo the entire system so I was thinking might as well do long tube and I'm ganna put but outs on it
