Poor Direct Sirius FM Modulation
I installed my sirius radio a couple days ago in my 2010 gmc Sierra. I have the worktruck and it didnt come with an AUX in.
I ordered the Sirius PVK1 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_607SIRP...&ssi=0&tp=1091
i have it installed with a stratus 6. From all the reviews i have read people are saying they have cd quality sound. Right now i have mediocre quality. The regular FM stations sound MUCH better then this.
I dont understand, its directly wired into the rear of the radio, i do have antenna adapters installed. Could this be the problem?
BTW: i am very tech savy and run a small business designing and installing home theaters and high end audio video, but for some reason when it comes to car audio stuff im not the best haha.
Any help or insite is greatly appreciated!

Do you have your FM Modulator on the Sirius head turned on...? I know with my StarMate 4 it has the option to turn on and off the FM modulator... And if the FM Modulator is on the stereo output is weaker... Try playing with your settings and see if it gets better... I'lm sure with a newer radio head like the Sportster 6 there has to be alot of functions and options...
Good luck bro...
