Default Easy way to test DL3 signal mirrors?

I just got a set of DL3 signal mirrors. I was told they work fine, but was wondering if there is an easy way for me to test them and make sure the signals, and power mirror, heat work and move correctly w/o having to take apart my truck and hook them up? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is another thread on here where they have the wires by the mirrors if the truck has defrost for the rear window I believe. If you want to take your mirrors off then you could try it, I think.
