Thanks, where are you from? Close to Iowa? I would love to see you run that beast sometime. Even bring it to Iowa, we have an awesome track at Cedar Falls, Iowa.

I'm way up north in Canada. What elevation is your track? Mine is 2200 above sea level :( Here is the closest I think you'll see it run, lol.

    That's awesome video.

    Very fast truck.

    My track is about 1100'

But here in Iowa, it is usually always humid and hot.

We start the racing season as early as Late April, but not good weather after Mid-June until about Mid Sept. Then good again till the end of Oct.

    Actually I am a CyHawk

My son went to Iowa (2001-2005) but my daughter goes to Iowa State currently. Got to love'm both (schools, that is). And actually I have been following the Clones more lately. I live just 1 hr north of Ames.

I can tell I am going to like this place already.

I belong to a few other car forums and have made friends all over the country throught the common bond we share in our passion for the vehicles that we drive.

It really amazes me how you can strike up a friendship with someone half way around the world, that you would most likely never meet in your life otherwise, maybe plan a trip together with them over the years and turn it into a lifetime friendship that you would give anything to keep.

I have seen that happen to me. I joined the CorvetteForum over ten years ago, and shortly after September 11th, a few of us on the CF started a Tour across America to raise funds for a WTC monument. That Tour introduced me to hundreds of new friends all across America that I still stay in touch with today.

Great country of ours (along with Canada et al).

    Gotta love the forum.

Already made a couple of new frineds and only been here for an hour or two!
