Thread: I need traction

    Default I need traction

I have a 2002 Silverado stepside. It is wicked fast with the tweeks I have incorperated but from a dead stop I can't seem to get going, the one rear tire just spins and spins. I think I should get a rear end for it but I don't know what kind to get that will give me both tires pulling. I know about the G80 but hesitant due to the klunk when it locks. Any suggestions? My Corvette always spins both back tires and I don't think it is positrack but I would sure love to find a rearend that would respond like that for my truck.

I would get a Detroit Locker for the rear differential. They lock it up tight and are all between $400 and $550, depending on the model you want.
