    Default What is a GTG?

A GTG is a Get Together (GTG) where members from the board make an event out of meeting together after talking on the board for so long.

As of this writing (Jan 2007), some board members have been here for 2 years. Some for 1 year. Some for 1 month. Others for 1 week. That's quite a diversity!

For the 2007 year, those who want to meet will probably have better luck finding a regional location to drive to for an afternoon/evening. For DFW, I'm thinking that it could be an afternoon at a local drive-in restaurant or something like that (Sonic).

Other than that, we can talk about a national event next year, possibly tie it in together with a truck show or an auto show or truck show or something like that.

    Default Mom and pop!

Steve, I think it would be a great thing that when we do GTG's that we make every effort to support any and all Mom & Pop american business's that we can no matter the region or venue! What do you think everybody?

Steve I get the feeling you're leaning toward a truck show.

As far as supporting local businesses (Mom & Pop), I think that's a great idea!
