    Default straight headers?

I'm thinking about running some long tube headers on my truck straight into dual mufflers with cutouts in between...would this be enough back pressure or am I pushing it?

I dont know man i would go into a y and run single in dual out. You dont wana have 0 back pressure on that 4.8 it will make you run rich which will make you loose tq and hp.

I agree 0 back pressure isnt good for hp and torque. Its good for loudness lol but not on torque and take off speed

running rich shouldn't be an issue as I plan to have it returned...I'm more concerned about floating a valve....is that gonna be an issue?

I definitely think backpressure will be an issue- you will probably loose some low end.
