    Default can you read abs codes?

    picked my gf up a 2000 gmc jimmy for a good deal the other day. but the abs light is on. is there a way i can read the code? i have a DOBII reader but ofcourse that wont work.

    Is there a way to use the digital dash to read it? thanx
    2000 Silverado Z71 4x4 fully loaded. 6L Swap, Fully built 4l60E Transmission w/ custom shift kit, intake, Edelbrock headers, custom 3" exhaust, MSD wires, 3" lift, 33" tires, Hypertec Programmer.

    Yes they do actually, what brand of scanner do you have right now? Auto x-ray has a card that you can plug into one of their scanners, and its about $100. Or go to sears hardware and they have one from actron, it is called the brake scan and it'll run ya $179 but it reads and clears only abs codes.
