I know you can reset your fuel mileage, and other things but what about the engine hour meter?

Not sure why yours might be acting up, but where it is an '07 I'd bring it into the dealer and let them figure out what is wrong.... in compariosn my engine hours on my 06 Silverado are at 5xx, with approx. 18,8xx miles.

I just got a 2003 Silverado C15903 and it has a engine hour meter to my pleasant surprise.

at 48K it has 1657.9 hours or average of 30 MPH which would seemingly suggest alot of highway driving on this truck.

Got this from a neighbor who just got it used last December and needed to sell it so I got it from him. He does not know history prior to that.

Got another friend with 2007 Chevy truck and he does not have hour meter.

Does anyone now if this is a option you can ask for or does it only come on fleet vehicles or what?
