Got my first rendition of my custom tune for my pickup today from Diablew Tune... installed it this morning. Definately can feel a smoother and stronger throttle response on the low end... and those annoying lean codes have disappeared (knock on wood). Have to run it for a week and send the next set of data reads.
Also, washed my truck... didnt have time for a full wax but polished the tires and all rubber/plastic trim. Still makes a big difference... replaced the driver side rear wheel seal and bearing. took off the granatelli MAF again and put the stock one back on. While at that I put the air raid intake tube back on (now its stock box with AMSOIL filter, stock MAF, Air raid intake tube, air raid TB spacer).David

I took temporarily took my Diablosport Intune out of my Avalanche and put it in the Duramax. I set it to the 65hp tune (lowest setting other than the towing tune) and tested it out. The Duramax is sure a beast with that tune. I won't try the 85 or 120hp tunes because I'm not planning this to be a performance truck and I don't want to kill the drivetrain, but tomorrow I'll be testing the towing tune since this is my work truck and it will be used to tow heavy loads.

Tested and figured out that the connector on the front fuel tank sender of the Duramax is the reason the fuel gauge doesn't work. Unplugged it and plugged it back in - got it to work for a while, then it stopped again. Now I'll have to figure that connector out.

cleaned the connections on my wiper motor (kinda hard to drive in the recent thunderstorms without wipers lol) and put new brake pads on the front. body parts came today.... just need to find time to put em on lol
