    thats sweet, i got a guy up where i live who has a machine shop... i go help whe i can, he said he'd build me some nice heads and he's gonna blue print the motor and everything with a slight cam and some nice pistons and crank... i told him i was hopin for 450-500hp and he said good, that means we'll build it with 600 lol.... and i'm gonna put it on 18lbs and get it tuned

    That thing will be pretty sick and since you have an" in" with a machine shop you won't break the bank. I sent mine to Executive Performance in KC and i was well above my budget after it was finished.

    yea havin connections help alot... like for instance i have a buddy who build turbo cars and my kit came off his lt1 firebird.... he ran it twice down the track and the bottom end went so he sold me all the turbo stuff including the manifolds for 500... thats EVERYthing, so i'm gettin lucky on my build so far.... but i'm 17 so i need all the luck i can get lol

    Turtle Wax makes a bug and tar remover that works great. I used it to remove the glue left behind from my 4x4 stickers. I also used it to remove gobs of sap from parking under a tree.
