    Default 1997 Injector pump

    I have read a few posts about first and second generation IP's... What is the preferred IP to have on a 1997 6.5 with no modifications. I just bought this one and there is a receipt in the glove compartment for a new IP at 125,000 miles. The Suburban has 159,000 miles on it. The PMD has been moved to behind the front bumper. The exhaust is new with 3" from the turbo to a little muffler and 4" from there back. He said it had a catalytic converter on it and it has been removed. Anything else I need to know? I have a Dodge first generation Cummins and am new to the Chevy diesel. Thanks in advance, Rockfoot
    PS... the part # on the injector pump is 17800077
