    Default Body Side molding

Hey all, another project were im taking **** off my truck cause I dont like how it looks haha (seems thats all iv been doing lately is taking stuff OFF my truck but in order to go forword we must go backwords) anyways the title pretty much sums it up on what I plan on doing, Iv read that the modling is held together with a 3M double sided tape. What is the best route for going about this. by the way I am taking this milding/trim stuff off because it is all chiped, cracked, dented and well broke and faded. so any suggestions please post here, once its done ill post before and afters thanks!

There are a Couple of Ways to Remove the Door Trim....I did the Following,

    1. A Heat Gun.....to help Soften the Trim

    2. Fishing line Between the Body & the Trim......and in a Sawing Up and Down Motion

    3. Once I Removed Half of the Trim....I Gently Pulled the Remaining Trim Off

    4. I used a 3M Eraser Wheel to remove the left over Adhesive.....you could also Use Goo Gone to Remove the Adhesive

    5. Wash the Area down and Then a Coat of Wax

Yes, time is the key. Nice and slow so you don't scratch or over heat anything.

    Cool body side molding

X2 what 99 Heartbeat said, but after I pulled my molding off I washed the area under the molding to get any dirt off that was under the molding so I wouldnt scratch the paint.
