    id go either way they are both good procharger and turbo would be the cheapest from what i see but you need to research what all needs to be changed for it to work at its best such as injectors, fuel pump, ect this is what was pointed out when i wanted to turbo a non turbo vehicle.

    An intercooler is a must as well.

    You better have money to spend on repairs, because unless your truck is prepared to handle the extra amount of air to fuel mixture in the combustion chamber it could cause a blown piston ring, leaking head gasket, and bent valves. That is a lot of money spent on engine repairs. It will also wear your transmission down faster, which is another great expense on a truck. My buddy, is a mechanic, and showed me one of the valves of a 1999 Silverado that somebody had just bolted on a supercharger to. That sucker was bent to hell and back. And that guy wondered why the engine had a knocking noise.

    We have superchargers on all our vehicles, and have yet to have any problems. They are however, all properly custom tuned and run appropriately. I have heard of problems with people trying to tune for turbos/superchargers with a handheld, but yet to hear of anyone bending a valve.
