Default Do drop spindles and shackles void warranty?

I just bought a 2009 Sierra xcab long bed for work that I'm putting a shell with windoors on the side. I'm sure with the weight of my supplies it will drop a little. However I need it to be lower to make it easier to get things out of it. Does it void any warranty if you put 2" drop spindles up front, remove the 1" lift spacer on the leaf springs and put in 2” drop shackles? Technically it doesn’t alter any on the geometry, it just drops the vehicle down 2"/3".
Any info or help would be appreciated. James

All depends what you would need to be fixed under warranty. If something goes wrong with what you did, they have to prove that your mod caused it. If something goes wrong elsewhere, there should be no issue. My dealer always looks after me.So I guess it also depends on the dealer.

I bought it from Royal Buick, GMC, Cadillac in Tucson, AZ. I've serviced them with pinstripes for 20 years and I've bought about 6 cars from them over the years. But I've learned over the years stuff like that sometimes doesn't matter when money is on the line. I guess I was hoping for an official stand from GM on suspension kits.

Or if such a small drop would even be noticed by your average service writer?

gm is trying to keep up with its competitors now a days and they do allow for a lift now a days like other companies are... there are stipulations for what they allow... if im not mistaking they allow for a 3" or 4" lift without voiding the waranty... im sure they are the same with lowering... just call your dealer and find out thats how i found out..
