Default Tire Selection For A 1500!

I got a 2005 Silverado Ext. Cab 1500 with (4WD) and it has the stock tires on it but I was wondering whats the biggest tires you can go with a stock ride height? Right now I've owned the truck for a matter of 2 days. Bought (3-6-2010). Thanks guys or gals!

My friend has an 04 Z71. He is running 285/70/17s but turned his torsion bars up a little bit. I had 265/75/16s before my leveling kit and 295s.

I was actually thinking about the Terra Grapplers from everyone that has them ive heard good things if you do regular maintenance. Thanks guys I plan on getting the ReadyLift Leveling kit for my truck to go bigger anyways. Thanks again.
