Not really sure, tryin to get a feel for it. The kit I have seen was 4 in but calls for a 4.5 wheel recess. Not sure at what that means. Like I said this is all new to me.

Appreciate the welcome by the way. New at the forum thing. Tryin to get a handle on exactly what I want to do but not really sure of accessories n stuff I have an I5 4wd with crew cab. It is a daily driver if that makes a difference. Not sure if I have to swap motors with the lift kit?

No need to swap motors with the lift, but maybe new gears depending on how big you go with the tires.

I have an '08 Canyon Off Road and I too have been thinking about lifting it. I have found a 5" CST lift that I like. I know that CST has a reputation for good products and so I feel comfortable with going that direction. However, it list the max tire size as 34's but I am still trying to find what additional modifications I need to perform to get 35's on it. I am unable to find a listing as to what I need to do to be able to get them on. If it helps at all you can check out the lift on www.cstsuspension.com However, if anyone has any idea where to find the information I need please help.
