    Default 02 diesel starter removal

    how do you remove the starter on a 2002 duramax, i can see the two bolts holding it on, one i cannot get a wrench on the other i dont have enough room to move a ratchet or a wrench at all.
    what do i have to remove to get at it?
    i belive just the solenoid is bad, can i replace it without taking the starter off?

    i finaly got it figured out, have to get at them from the front (not the side) with a long extension and a swivel.
