Hey guys so i ended up just running a switch to the amp and everything is working great. I simply bought a switch, ran power to it from the battery, grounded it, then ran the acc. wire to the amp and its perfect. It's also a plus so if I have a headache or something i can simply switch the amp off and have no bass.

    Thanks for all the tips
