    Default sensor location

Hey guys i am trying to finish a motor for a 93 silverado with a 350. When I got the truck the motor was in pieces. There is a sensor that goes on the drivers side in the head toward the front between the #1 and #3 cylinder. Which sensor goes here? Any help would be great, since I havebeen working on it on the weekends since november when I had time and I am ready to hear it run. Thanks again.

Sounds like it could be the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor.

thanks for your reply. It was actually the coolant temp switch. temp sensor goes in the top of the intake.
