How much lift did you get with the pro comp kit? Also, some kits, like the ready lift and truxxx, advertise they "maintain the stock ride." what determines that? Is it the shock brackets or what the keys are made of or what?

I got 3" of lift. As far as "factory ride" goes, if you think about it, it is pretty much impossible to alter a vehicles suspension without changing the ride characteristics. Having said that, the difference is minimal in my opinion, yes it is a little firmer but not harsh at all. The suspension just feels more "solid", I've said this before, My wife's Pontiac Grand Prix GTP rides rougher than my truck!

Cool Readylift vs Roughcountry leveling kit

Check out OffroadUnlimited, they have a K1500 leveling kit that comes with longer Bilstein shocks. Its a really good kit and works well.

I just had an online chat with jimmie at rough country.

[Jimmie] Hello, how may I help you?
[Travis] Hello, will this kit fit on a 1500HD? http://roughcountry.com/chevy_4wd_hd_leveling.html
[Travis] Is this chat working correctly? Can you see my messages?
    [Jimmie] what year
    [Travis] 2002
    [Jimmie] the keys are differnt
[Travis] ok, because the readylift ones say 1500/2500 HD
    [Travis] http://readylift.com/c-37-silverado-...-8-lug-25.aspx
    [Jimmie] let me check
[Jimmie] they are the same keys
[Travis] Ok, and are the rough country keys cast or forged?
    [Jimmie] they are forged
[Travis] Really? Wow. You guys should advertise that, that was the deciding factor for me and it doesn't say it anywhere on your site.
    [Jimmie] i will mention that
[Travis] Thank you for your time, I will be ordering them now.
[Jimmie] No problem, have a great day!
