ACC Wire for aftermarket radio
I have a 2005 trailblazer, non bose. I want to put in an aftermarket radio and according to the instruction with the wire harness I got, the stock radio doesn't have a red ACC wire to tap into. Therefor I have to run an ACC wire to the fuse box. Is this an easy thing to do and I was told to find the ignition fuse and hook it into there. Please help! Thanks

You got it right.
You can also get an adapter plug for your truck so you don’t have to cut the wires in the dash, handy when you want to sell the truck and put the original radio back in.
