    Default ABS light when turning

99 suburban 2500, when turning and braking ABS light comes on and peddle vibrates, also doesn't want to stop. Had lines flushed, no codes, still acting up when turning but not as bad as before.

Scan the ABS for codes. You won't see them with a generic scanner but they are there if the ABS light comes on. I'll bet you have a bad wheel speed sensor.

If it is only when you are turning, I would also think it is probably a wheel speed sensor, or the wiring to it.

I have the exact same problem on my 2006 silverado. is this sensor costly to replace.

    Default 06 silverado

I don't know a lot about the 06, but in my 99 suburban the sensor is part of the wheel bearing assembly. I purchased new wheel bearings and rotors. Rotors had to be pressed on to the wheel bearings and all OK now.

Sorry, about $300 a side, did work myself and had to pay to get pieces pressed.

Glad you got your 99 fixed. On the 2006 silverado, I believe the sensors are replaceable, but someone correct me if I am wrong. I'm not sure what it will cost you, but as long as they are replaceable, it should cost quite a bit less than al2500's suburban did.
