    Hey guys-

New member here and long time Chevy truck fan from Connecticut. I am currently in the process of trying to buy my first Silverado and could use your input.

I found a nice looking 2003 2500HD, however the mileage scares me a little. With 147k on the odometer, Im worried that this truck might not be as reliable as I would like it to be over the next few years. What is your recommendation on a truck with this many miles on it? The interior and exterior seem to be in excellent condition, and it already has a lift kit and aftermarket wheels/tires. Link to the truck is below. I might head down to Jersey tomorrow to take a look at the truck. I would really only take the truck for the right price (less than $12k). Ultimately Im not looking to spend more than $15k, but I can go a little higher if needed.

Let me know what you think.

Anyway, more about me. I currently own a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT with way too much money put into it:

I am about to be a homeowner and have a kid on the way as well. You could say my life is a little hectic right now, haha.

Im a licensed 12volt installation technician, and specialize in remote starters and custom work.

Look forward to owning a Chevy and all the information and help that I can get from this forum.

    Thanks
    -Mike

Ha, I wish I could get it that cheap...I can't imagine paying over 12k for a truck with this many miles. Calling the dealership tomorrow to see what they want for it outside of ebay.
