    Default Washer fluid not spraying

1991 Silverado 1500. I just bought it. The wiper fluid does not spray out. Yes there's fluid in the reservoir. When I depress the button, no fluid and I don't hear any mechanical noise like its not trying to pump it.

The wipers work. Lights and turn signals work.

What's the first thing I should look at?

    thanks -

get a test light and unplug the washer pump connector have some one press the washer switch and touch the two probes if it lights up you have power if no light then start tracing wires, if you have power and can not hear the washer pump replace it
if you hear it look for broken washer lines

Problem fixed. I took a test light, tested the pump connector and determined that there was power. I turned on the washer and listened to the pump and determined that it was making noise. It was at that time I noticed washer fluid leaking out from under the truck, so I figured there was a broken or disconnected hose. I took off the wipers and the plastic grill thing underneath them. There there were both hoses disconnected.

Thanks for your help and good suggestions.

Sorry, I should have suggested that. I had the exact same problem.

    Glad the issue is resolved.

Now its time to go off-road and get her dirty...
