    Default Wheel /tire questions

I searched but couldn't find what I'm looking for...

I have a 1995 Tahoe that has 323k on it, I need tires and the wheels are in rough shape. It has factory 16" wheels on it now.

I'm looking at buying a used set of wheels/tires for it since I don't want to dump too much money into a vehicle with so many miles. Is it possible to switch it over to 15" wheels since there is more available wheels and tires in that size? Will they clear the brakes?

If not what year wheels and models do the factory 16" interchange from? 90's? 2000+?
