Default 80's style rims fit 2002?

So, i found a set of old 80's rims, and Mickey Thompson Claw tires for sale on local classifieds. They only want $500 for both tires and the rims. It's 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern, it's off a 4x4. But my question is the backspacing. How is it on these rims? Will they fit on my 2002? These would be some nice mudding tires!

Hmm i think they should be just fine. I took a set off of a 2007, and put them on my 88.. Depending on the dish etc. I would got out and ask if they would allow you to test fit one just to be sure though.

I am not sure but I think they have to be at least 16s for the brakes to clear. Also if they do fit make sure the wheel speed sensor wires don't hit the wheel or tire due to the different backspacing.

Cool 80s style rims fit 2002

You have the BDS lift with the BDS steering knuckles and they require a differant backspacing to clear the lifted s/knuckle.

Yes, but you can flip the rims can you not? That's what my friend does with his. To give less or more backspacing. but i think it might not work because he has a solid front axle.
