Default Trying to remove stock fan to install electric fans

    99 NBS / 4.8L

I am trying to remove the stock fan so I can install electric fans. I took out the 4 bolts that hold the plastic fan inself to the silver thing on the end of the shaft. I guess the silver round thing is the clutch? How do I get it off?

I did this on a 5.3 but i am sure that it is the same concept. You have to hold the pully still so it wont turn. Take a big wrench and lossen the big shaft behind it. I hope that this helps you.
