    Default 1500 brakes vs 2500 brakes

    Hey gents, does any know if the brakes on a2000 and up 2500 HD are any bigger than a 1500? Does anyone know if theyll interchange

    They will not interchange. You have a 6 lug hub, and the 2500s have an 8 lug hub. Only way for you to upgrade is to change everything to 8lug..
    The brakes are a bit heavier duty, such as the calipers and i believe the rotor surface is a bit larger..
