I would put my truck in the garage, and preserve it till I can find some alternative fuel to use. I would make daily trips out to the garage to sit in it and pretend to drive it....

Wow. I think I am going to start buying up all the bicycle parts up and wait for my cash cow to come in.
While waiting, I will plant my acreage with Timothy grass and start breeding horses again. Maybe Obama will give me ten million to start a horse buggy manufacturing plant

Honestly I think Propane is a better choice overall if it was easier to refuel somewhere. It burns cleaner and has alot less wear and tear on a motor!!

I'm going to say I'd go all "Grand Theft Auto" and take the nearest running car, the syphon the gas into my truck. But in reality, I'd sit and wait for an alternative.

My wife and I are avid cyclist and are use to riding and even hauling groceries and other things around on our backs or in a cart behind the bicycles. the last 5 years we lived in Phoenix, we rode the bicycles or walked everywhere. My wife's job was 12 miles one way from home! Mine was a lot closer. ride the bikes more and convert ole Silv over to propane. I worked in a shop that did those conversions and they were sweet! At one time had a (sssshhhhhh!) Ford with 100 gallon propane tank in the bed! never saw a gas station!

Diesel conversion+veggie oil conversion=all good until all the veggies in the world disappear!

I'd start growing and making my own diesel with grease etc. ;)

I would also have a conversion kit to allow me to run either diesel or LP
