    Default XD-Series Chrome Monsters

    [4/15/10 UPDATE on page 4]

This "flies in the face" of the direction that I was originally taking with my truck, but I think I have decided to go with a bling rim instead of a partial-bling rim!!

I keep coming back to the XD-Series Monster rims in chrome. I originally was looking at several black w/ machine faced rims, but none of them REALLY did it for me! I just really like the look of the chrome Monsters. Seems like everyone hasd the all black Monsters on their black trucks. This will be a little more unique and will fit with my theme of black and chrome. Here's a picture:

I'm the first to tell folks that "it is your truck, do what you want", but I would like to still hear what you think about this new direction I'm taking!

    Be gentle!!

I think the wheel looks good and if your not getting rid of all the chrome on your truck it should look pretty sharp. Let us know what you decide.

    I love those wheels!

The only thing I don't like about them is all the rivets on the outer part of the rim, my old set of wheels I had had those rivets and I ended up cleaning and waxing them with a Q-tip. Most people don't clean the rivets and after about a year you see little brown spots all around those rivets, so as long as you pay close attention to that you'll be alright.

I wouldn't change a thing on your truck actually, my last truck was black and chrome and I always got a good crowd at the car shows because it was different. I am going to have to check these wheels out for my new truck, but I'd be willing to bet that they don't make them in 8 lug..............

I did think about that. Now that I am considering the chrome option I have started looking at some other manufacturers, but it is just something about these Monsters that I like.

I know I shouldn't admit this Adam, but your truck was one of the reasons I started looking at "bling" rims!
