    You need to pump the jack quickly so the mass of the cab will basically hold the hinge end down. If you pump it real slowly, you'll just lift the cab without tweaking the hinges.
    When you hear hoofbeats, look for horses not zebras.

    My father used to just use a length of 2 x 4 sitting one end on the door sill and just lever us on the outer end. Apply some pressure and check, rinse and repeat until satisfactory. Don;t get too Ggorilla of it will be bent too far...

    Lo and behold.... it worked. I placed my hydraulic jack underneath the bottom end of the door, placed a 4x4 on the jack and jacked it up about 4 times to get it to properly close now. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
