Default 05 1500 Power Window Scraping Sound

Recently, I am getting what sounds like a scraping sound on the glass when I roll down the Drivers power window. I do not see any scratches on the glass and it does not make the noise when rolling up the window. With 130K miles, this window has been up and down thousands of times I am sure. Is there a part that requires maintenance?

Is this a common problem that can be fixed ith DIY maintenance or should I take it to the dealer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is your outside weather stripping that is making that noise, you need to replace it. Unless someone has an idea on how to soften it up.
