HD Hood on my Suburban
I've been thinking about putting a 2500HD hood on my Burban for awhile so I finally bit the bullet and did the install. Let me know what you think.

I picked it up at a wrecking yard just north of Edmonton (Westlock AB). I paid $200.00 for it plus $50.00 to have it shipped to Vancouver. A friend of mine who works at a dealer body shop did the install and paint for about $450.00. I then managed to sell my old hood for $150.00. So after the smoke cleared it cost me $550.00 to do everything including the cost of the hood, paint, install & shipping. The HD hood is a direct fit so if you have a few friends it doesn't take much to install it. Here is a link to where I found my hood. You're looking for a 01-02 2500HD hood with option code HVY.
