Colorado wheels fit on silverado?
I have been looking to buy some wheels on craigslist for my silverado. I know I need size 6 on 5.5 (6 139.7) but someone told me to beware of the bore size even though the bolts match up. How am I supposed to know what the bore size for all the wheels I am looking at? The colorado wheels I am looking at have a 106.1 mm bore. What does all this mean for the average Joe like myself?

What year is your truck? If its 1999 and newer, the wheel center bore has to be at least 78mm for it to fit. Colorados and canyons use a bigger center bore so they shouldn't have any problems fitting.
If you were trying to put Silverado wheels on a Colorado it would be a different story, you'd have to bore the wheel center out larger.

X2, after '99, G.M. went to a 78.3 hubcentric rim. Which means the rim uses the centerbore to align the rim on the hub as opposed to using the studs to center the wheel. Basically it means you must use a rim with a centerbore of at least 78.3mm in order to fit. You can use a rim with a bigger bore but you may experience a vibration at highway speeds, especially with a larger wheel and tire combo.Adam
