Question Bought my rims today, what size tires should I get?

I just bought some 20x10 chrome wheels today and need to know what size tire I should get. I have a NON-Lifted 2008 Silverado crew. The tires that are on the wheels now need to be replaced but they are 285/50-20s. I really would like to go taller but I dont want it to rub either. I have a very limited budget and cannot afford a lift right now. The tires I would like to put on are 275/60-20s but do yall think they would the width of the wheel? Also those are 33 inches tall, do you think they would rub being that wide? Thanks

with 305/55/r20 and 20x10 wheels your going too have to trim your paster and part of the inside fender i had to do it with mine and i had a 1.5" leveling kit but my rims were 20x9 with a 0mm offset

If ypu don't have a lift I would go with 305/50/20. These tires are 32.1 inches tall,(your current tires are 31.2) so they will be a little taller but should fit. The only thing that concerns me is you got 10" wide rims which sometimes cause fitment problems. The 305 will fit on the rim better, I think a 275 will look stretched, it is only 11" wide. So long as you got the right offset you should be fine with this size. The other thing to consider is budget, you say you are on a limited one? During my search for tires last year I found that prices double once you go over 32", I paid $560 for mine last June, 305/50/20, mounted and balanced, but for 305/55/20, I couldn't touch them for less than $1200!
