My name is Frank. My 2002 Silverado Duramax/Allison is the best tow vehicle I've had. Over the past 25 yrs the Suburban was my choice until this quiter duramax came along. It took my 26 ft. Airstream trailer to Alaska twice,to Mexico Baja few times and cross country many times.I am now 84 yrs. old, slowing down a bit, but going and seeing the glorious sites in this country. My Silverado has only 130K miles so it is only broken in.

Welcome to the GMTruckClub! "Old Guys Rule!" as the saying goes! I saw a show on TV this weekend on a company that converts Suburbans over to Duramax diesels w/ Allison tranny. Should make a good hauler.
