I was just watching some TV earlier, and the commercial for "Esurance" was on. The one about harvesting all kinds of trees to make paper to write up insurance policies. At the end the girl says, "Quick get in the hybrid" all I could think of was this article, and especially how making the batteries for those hybrids probably devastated more trees than for making paper, since no trees will probably go on that site for another 100 years. At least at paper mills they can, and do replant.
