If you're going for 3'' front and back, go with drop spindles and springs on the front and a spring/shackle and hanger kit on the back. If it is a leaf spring set up. Using drop springs alone drops the front but it also induces massive negitive camber. The drop spindles lower but maintain stock camber and toe settings. And 3'' drop is a lot of adjusting to get rid of all that camber so your tires wear evenly. You may want to install some stiffer shocks or coil overs too. Being that far down your oil pan is closer to the ground and your axel is closer to the frame. 4'' and above drops really need a C notch kit in the axel, this requires cutting and welding on the frame, so they don't collide. If you have rear coils, drop springs are the fastest easiest way. Besure to check your rear pan hard bar if you have one. You may need a new one or an adjustable one because dropping may change the needed lenght. And since you have everything apart, it would be a good time to change ball joints, tie rod ends, adusting sleeves, bushings, maybe a new sway bar. And a good grease job is mandatory since your right there.
If you want to get wild air bag it. But then you have to mount a tank, pump, plumb the lines and valves, and wire in all the controls. Have a 63 C-10 I'm planning on doing that too in years to come.1992 GMC Sonoma GT 4.3
