I tried that route and got what was supposed to be a "good" "tested"compressor and it still didnt work so i said to hell with it, but i also had a couple orifice tubes that needed replacing and now its warrantied for 3 years. the part that really sucks it that with having the rear air you need the extra freon and 135 of my 1000 was for the freon!!99 K1500 Suburban LT "THE BEAST"

Sounds about right. And they charged you $135 for the freon that you could have gotten at the parts store for $40... Gotta love shop mark up.
I am currently working on a 2000 Suburban with rear AC and the rear lines are leaking.. So im looking at some real fun...Mike
