Default 2009 GMC Wheel Center Caps

How do you get the center caps out of the aluminum wheels? Do you have to remove the wheel to access the backside, or do they come out from the frontside?

You have to take the wheel off and push them out from the back.

Thanks, Greg. That's what I thought, since there wasn't any opening on the frontside, but I just wanted to be sure before I pulled a wheel.

It seems the center caps are plastic. Does anyone know if there's an aluminum or metal center cap I can replace it with? Seems cheap to have plastic on a 20" aluminum wheel.
