I'll have to scratch around and find a vid from last year. My rooftop rig blew off at 70mph.
Ooh, went out and bought a replacement. LED Strobe.

Well my first lighting package was very simple and minimal. It was on my '91 Z71 pick-up.
Federal Signal Mini Vector on the roof, Federal Signal halogen flashers behind the tailgate and 2 Federal Signal SignalTech LED panels behind the grill...
My next vehicle went through numerous statges...

Whelen 22" LFL 4 Strobe, 4 Whelen TIR-3's on the Pre-Runner Bar

Here are mine. I wanted LEDs that were clear when off. I travel through multiple states, and the laws for red lights are different in each state.
The light inside the grill is from http://www.extremetacticaldynamics.com/
The light bar is from http://www.ledoutfitters.com/
There is also a Code 3 siren behind the grill to help move the people.

I've traveled from PA to NC numerous times and never had any problems... And some of the states I drove through, the police use all blue, not blue and red...
