Default Disk breaks on newer trucks

Has anyone else noticed that the newer trucks are terrible with break dust on the front rims? I have an 07 NBS and its the worst one I have ever had for break dust on the rims. I had an 04 and it hardly had any break dust build up. Did GM switch brands of pads or what? Just wondered if anyone else was having the same problem or noticed the difference.

I've got a 2010 and it must have ceramic pads because I get no noticable brake dust on the rims.

I am not sure what mine are. But I can wash my truck and clean the rims and 2 days later their is a significant amount of break dust on them. Liking my truck to be clean it drives me crazy.
