Default to heat or not to heat

    Hello!

just bought an 02 tahoe at auction. only issue is no heat. radiator is full, fan blows at all settings, a/c very cold, but no heat. read elsewhere about an issue with the intake manifold but I thought I should be experiencing a loss of coolant if that were the case.

anyone else experience this issue and want to share their solution before I dive into this head first?

Could be a clogged heater core. Or the door to the heater core is not opening.

Do you have heat in the defrosters?

If so most likely itís the door, that in you vehicle is electronically control. The old er models it was vacuum operated.
