Default Fresh air / recycle setting?

Is there a way to keep your fresh air / recycle air setting to stay where it was when you stop and start your vehicle? It always goes back to fresh air when you start your truck.

I asked the dealer the same thing when I bought my truck. He said that the reason they do that is so that when the AC first comes on it can replace the hot air inside the truck more efficiently, then you manually switch it to recirc to keep the cold air in. Annoying I agree, but atleast there is some reason. One thing to note is that if you keep it on fresh all the time you will be replacing the cabin air filter more regularly.

I get in and out of my truck 20 times a day; it gets plenty of fresh air. It's just inconvenient to have to switch it every time. I also hate the fact you can't use your defrost settings on recycle either, it always switches to fresh.
