Default Rear A/C fan blowing but switch is off

New to this forum ,just bought a 2001 2500 Suburban with the 6.0l 2WD for towing.Strange problem
when I turn the ignition on I hear the the rear ran running but the rear controls are set to off. Almost
ready to pull switch but thought I would check first,

    Welcome to the site.

What about the front control, in the overhead console?

I realise this post is a month old but I'll try anyways, silly thought, did you check to see if your a/c control up front is set on, the drivers control does override the rear control.
Obvious, yes, but sometimes it's the easy things we don't think of.
Trust me I've got plenty of experience there!

    Default Thanks

You were right about that, I figured it out but it was a bit different from
    my old 1978 Chevy Van.
    Thanks Again
